Khai and I went on our yearly visit to the west end to see the Christmas lights and to hit the shops.
The Trafalgar Square tree
Then the toy shops.
We have snow yeah!!!!!!
Whilst on the bus taking khai to school on Friday snow began to fall. I was so sure that when we got to school id be told that it was closed, but they didn’t, it was ok school would be open as usual which was great!
Has I was walked away from the school gates the snow fall became heavier and by 11 o’clock I received a txt informing parents that they could collet children at lunchtime if they wanted to.
i called the school and was told this was for parents like me who did not live near the school who wanted to avoid traffic later so I decided to let Khai stay at school and maybe I would pick him up an hour earlier but by 12 another text came telling us to come and get our children ASAP.
I collected khai and along with his friend we headed to the park to play a little in the snow. It was such good fun to watch them play and throw snowballs at each other however I soon became the main target as I didn’t have my gloves which put me at a disadvantage and made it very difficult to make snowballs so I could retaliate.
Yesterday there was little if any snowfall but today it seems the snowfall is back and showing no sign of easing up which means that there will most likely be no school tomorrow either. But I won’t complain I refuse to how can you complain when it looks so pretty and bring so much joy to little hearts (and big ones too).
Well it’s 12-12-12 on the 12th of the 12th 2012
Time ticks on by with such speed!
Again it’s been months since my last post, you know what happened the day after Khai’s 5th birthday his first tooth fell out and I wrote a huge heart felt post (using my phone of course as my laptop isn’t working) Then someone phoned me and then when I answered I lost my whole post.
I was so angery I refused to write a new post. But it’s nearly Christmas and it driving me crazy not posting so here I Am again tapping away on my phone.
This was not the best of weeks. I have a very bad cold/mild flu, poor khai has been on half term and has basically had to spend the week at home while I tried to get better.
He very sweetly got out his toy doctors instruments and listened to my heart, took my temperature and checked my pulse. He gave water to drink and a teddy to cuddle. My son took very good care of me.
In an attempt to do something with him we made pink fairy cakes (yes my son Khai wanted to make cupcakes with pink icing, charlie and lola have a lot to answer for) midweek and they went down a treat.
We also had a friend round last night which was great as khai got to play with someone for the first time all week.
Hopefully the Christmas holidays will be a lot more eventful!

I woke up this morning not feeling in the best mood however I was soon cheered up to the beautiful sound of my son singing DINKLE DINKLE DINKLE DINKLE DINKLE DINKLE DINKLE DINKLE which is he’s version of twinkle twinkle little star which he sang for the first time today I nearly cried, it was so sweet.
We headed out early because I made up my mind that today I was going to join a gym, well if the truth be told I joined last week when I had an introduction, but today was my first proper session and it was good! I did the treadmill, bike and cross trainer the whole workout was only around 40minutes but the trainer said that was enough for now.
My son also had a good time I took him with me he spent the whole time in the crèche; and today was bouncy castle day. I was told he had lots of fun on the bouncy castle and sang heaps of songs and nursery rhymes. He didn’t want to leave! So I’m sold I’ll be going again later in the week, think I’m gonna like this.
After the gym we went shopping where Khai saw and fell in love with a toy car to which I gave in and brought for him this car makes lots of sounds it beeps, toots, honks, and oddly plays SLY AND THE FAMILY STONE – Dance to the Music (why???????) and he wouldn’t put it down, not on the walk home.
Not even on the swing.
Or even when I found the mute button and switched the maddening noise off.
Infact he didn’t put it down until he fell asleep.
Then woke up; found it, took it to bed, fell asleep again.
